On October 5th, the Prostate Health Education Network (PHEN) kicked off its Houston, Texas Prostate Cancer Disparity Rally to continue through November 9th. A major aspect of the Houston Disparity Rally includes spreading prostate cancer awareness and the importance of early detection screening. The Houston Rally will incorporate radio (KROI, KMJQ, and KTSU) and social media awareness campaigns while concluding with a virtual Town Hall meeting on November 8th. During the Town Hall meeting, leaders will discuss the factors contributing to the prostate cancer racial disparity in Houston and the collaborations that may address this disparity.
